Sand Blasting Room | Industrial Blast Booth for Steel Structure & Ship Descaling

Sand blasting booths are made to handle oversized workpieces of any shape and dimension, operating on compressed air blasting technology. Every booth is custom-built based on the maximum workpiece size clients need to process, so all units are non-standard and supplied in many different dimensions.

Each full blasting booth package includes the sealed cabin body, pressure blasting tank, spray guns, abrasive recycling setup, internal lighting and wear-resistant wall liners, covering all core components required for operation.

To move parts inside the booth, most factories use forklifts or rail-mounted trolleys. Monorail systems and overhead traveling cranes are also viable alternatives for certain production layouts.

Customers can pick from multiple door styles: manual swing doors, cylinder-powered swing doors, electric rolling shutters and sliding doors. We can also design booths with entry and exit doors on both ends for streamlined workflow.

There are two abrasive recovery modes: manual and automatic. For manual recovery, we fit collection hoppers at booth corners; workers sweep spent abrasives toward these hoppers for reuse. Automatic recycling systems are installed beneath the booth floor, with three common configurations: screw conveyors, belt conveyors and floor scrapers. Among them, floor scraper systems represent the most advanced solution. This design only requires a 500mm deep underground pit, or we can skip digging pits entirely by raising the booth floor with supporting steel frames if clients approve this layout.

One pressure blasting tank can support anywhere from one up to six blasting guns. All staff entering the blasting booth during operation must wear full protective blasting suits and safety helmets.
