Sand blasting rooms adopt compressed air blasting processes and serve for cleaning large workpieces of all shapes and sizes. As non-standard equipment, each unit is tailor manufactured according to the maximum dimension of customer workpieces, with multiple size options available.

A complete blast room assembly consists of cabin housing, pressure sand blasting tank, blasting nozzles, abrasive recycling system, interior lighting and wall protective liners.

Workpiece transportation inside the blast room mainly relies on forklifts and rail trolleys; monorail hoists and overhead cranes are optional transport solutions as well.

A variety of door types are optional, including hand-operated swing doors, pneumatic swing doors, electric roller doors and sliding doors. Double-end door structures can also be arranged on request.

Abrasive recycling falls into manual and automatic categories. Manual recovery adopts corner hoppers, where operators gather abrasives by sweeping for circulation. Automatic recycling devices are mounted under the floor, available in screw conveyor, belt conveyor and floor scraper types. Floor scraper systems are the most technically mature option. They only demand a 500mm deep foundation pit, or foundation pits can be canceled by elevating the entire booth floor via structural supports.

A single pressure blasting tank can be equipped with 1 to 6 blasting guns. Operators inside the blast room must wear dedicated protective clothing and safety helmets while working.
